Donating water to mosques is one of the great acts of charity that combines the virtue of charity with the reward of providing water. It is one of the greatest acts of charity that Islam encourages. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “The best charity is giving water” (Narrated by Ahmad and Abu Dawud).
